Walk+Roll in Kamm's Corners - May 15, 2010

Be part of three free events in one: the new Hooley on Kamm's Corners festival celebrating the streetscape project and one of Cleveland's most family-friendly neighborhoods, kick off Cleveland Bicycle Week and be a part of Walk+Roll!

Hooley is an old-fashioned Irish term for a dance and party, so come out and be part of a new tradition in Kamm's Corners.

noon - Streetscape ribbon cutting on Lorain Avenue near W165th Street with Mayor Jackson

noon to 8pm - Hooley on Kamm's Corners
- on Lorain Ave, between W165 and W168

noon to 4pm - Walk+Roll - three miles of street-based fun plus guided neighborhood bicycle rides and walking tours

All events are free and will highlight one of Cleveland's most family-friendly neighborhoods plus encourage walking, bicycling and exploring which will make our communities cleaner, greener, wealthier and healthier.

RTA's Red Line and the under-construction Puritas Station

Fairview General Hospital facilities

Kamm's Corners Farmers Market site

Gunning Park Rec Center

YMCA West Park / Fairview branch

Cleveland Public Library Lorain branch

Historic St Patrick West Park Church - the oldest church in Cuyahoga County

Historic Alger Cemetery

Greater Cleveland Peace Officers Memorial
